NEWS UPDATE:

Happy Monday dear students!

1) To remind you, we are serving Free Meals to anyone under 18 at all of the MCS elementary schools.  Please stop by to get breakfasts and/or lunches from 11am - 1pm.  

2.) Internet Access is provided in the parking lots of every MCS elementary school. 

- Additionally, we've provided wifi around the guard gate by West McDowell Middle School... you can park nearby and use the wifi after normal business hours if needed.  

- If you use Verizon, I know that they have added 15gb to user plans, which you can turn into a hotspot.

3) Please reach out to me with any questions.  I also encourage you to connect with your teachers and see if they have any further news for you.  I miss you guys and gals, and I'm here if you need me.     :)

MCS will be Closed, by order of the NC Governor, until May 15 as a proactive measure to prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please see our News and Announcement section on the McDowell County Schools website for additional info.
