Too Much Technology?

Here's an interesting article about how today's youth are growing acclimated to Tech at much younger ages than their predecessors, and what that might mean for the future.

What are your thoughts:

  1. Is tech taking over the most basic of everyday activities?
  2. Is it becoming (or has it already become) an addiction that can't be stopped?
  3. Can we stem the tide of technology pieces that we've come to rely on so easily?

Pay Attention:

"If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed...
If you do read it, you're mis-informed."

Denzel Washington, quoted, regarding news/media outlets today and their responsibility to tell the truth as well as the consumers' responsibility to make sure they are truthfully informed.  He  continued on, stating:

"What is the long-term effect of too much information?
One of the effects is the need to be FIRST, not even to be TRUE anymore.
...Tell the truth...
Anything you practice, you'll get good at, including BS."

WE LEARN...

10 % of what we read
20 % of what we hear
30 % of what we see

50 % of what we see and hear
70 % of what we discuss
80 % of what we experience
95 % of what we teach to others
