We are entering the last 9 weeks of this school year.
Late work will not be accepted unless due to the following reasons:
- Absent on day of work being assigned or due. You will have three (3) days to make up missing work if you are absent on the day work is assigned. If you are out on a day work is due, you will be expected to turn in the work upon returning to class.
- Health-related issues beyond your control.
- Out of class (for reasons other than being absent) on a day you are assigned class time to do work. Examples of this include: being on a field trip, or spending class time in guidance/ the main office -- you will have a note from guidance/the office, etc.
- School-wide technology issues beyond your control.
(an uncharged chromebook does NOT count as an issue beyond your control)
There is no reason for you to consistently turn in late work, and expect to receive full credit. Future careers will give you deadlines, and they will expect you to meet them. School is a place to prepare for your future role in the workforce, and taking excessively late work doesn't help you out.
